PROMOUVOIR UN POUVOIR JUDICIAIRE INDÉPENDANT DANS LE MONDE
L’Union comprend quatre Groupes Régionaux: l’Association Européenne des Magistrats, le Groupe Iberoaméricain, le Groupe Africain et le Groupe Asiatique, Nord-américain et Océanien. Le but des Groupes régionaux est de discuter les problèmes régionaux concernant le système judiciaire. Ils se réunissent généralement deux fois par an et ils peuvent adopter des résolutions concernant la magistrature de toute la région concernée, ou bien spécifiquement un ou plus pays donnés. Des missions «ad hoc» peuvent être organisées dans des cas particuliers; elles peuvent être suivies par des rapports.
