Promotion of the independence of judges and rule of law in Hungary

Today, the President of the European Association of Judges (EAJ), Mr. Duro Sessa, adressed a letter to the CoE (Directorate General of Human Rights and Rule of Law) as regards a communication under Rule 9 para 2 of the Rules of the Committee of Ministers concerning the execution of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, asking to take this information into account in the deliberations regarding the execution of the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in the case Baka vs. Hungary.
