Cookie Law

Site of the EAJ

This site uses cookies only to facilitate the navigation, as well as for providing information, in aggregate form, on visits to the site. User data will not be used to develop customized marketing campaigns; profiling cookies, managed by external parties to iaj-uim.org, can be disabled directly from your browser.

The site iaj-uim.org is using Google Analytics for mere statistical purposes. It is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”) that uses cookies, which are stored on the user’s computer to allow statistical analysis in aggregate form in order to show how the website is visited; it should be noted that, beside cookies, Google uses a pixel tag (http://www.google.it/intl/it/policies/privacy/key-terms/).

Data generated by Google Analytics are stored by Google as indicated in the Statement available here: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cookie-usage .

Cookies can be divided into:

“Technical” Cookies:
Cookies are used to collect and analyze traffic and use the site anonymously. These cookies, even without identifying the user, allow, for example, to detect if the same user returns to connect at different times. They also allow monitoring the system and improving its performance and usability. The deactivation of these cookies can be executed without any loss of functionality.

To consult the privacy policy of the company Google Inc., owner of the independent processing of data related to the Google Analytics service, please refer to the website http://www.google.com/intl/en/analytics/privacyoverview.html.

Profiling Cookies:
These are persistent cookies used to identify (anonymously or not) user preferences and improve your experience of navigation.

As clearly indicated by the Italian “Data Protection Authority” with the “Clarifications on the implementation of the legislation on cookie” of June 5, 2015, sites that use, merely for statistical purposes, analytical cookies created and made available by third parties are not subject obligations and formalities required by law (notification to the Guarantor in particular), provided that instruments are adopted that reduce the power of analytical cookies which might identify the user (for example, by masking significant portions of the IP address), and provided that the use of these cookies is subject to contractual relations between sites and third parties, in which third parties are specifically requested to use such data only for providing their services, storing them separately, without “enriching” them, or “crossing” them with other information they dispose of.

Third-party Cookies:
Visiting a website you may receive cookies both from the site that is visited and from websites maintained by other organizations (“third parties”). Examples are the “social plug-ins” of Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn, but also YouTube and the like. They form part of the page visited, are directly generated by these sites and integrated in the host site. The most common use of social plug-ins is aimed at sharing content on social networks.
The presence of these plug-ins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites operated by third parties. The management of the information collected by “third parties” shall be governed by the third-party relevant information; please refer to such information. To ensure greater transparency and convenience, we show below the web addresses of different information sources and ways to manage cookies.

The owner of this site has decided to exercise the function of anonymizing IP users provided by Google (described at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2763052?hl=it) and has accepted “Amendment on data processing” (Google Analytics Data Processing Amendment v20130906) made available by Google Analytics in accordance with Directive 95/46/EC; Google will use data as requested by the customer – owner of the site and will not share them with other additional services, unless the customer himself requests this, through his/her service settings. On this point we inform you that the owner of this site is not linked to any additional service by Google Analytics and has not activated any advertising option or data sharing with Google.

In the light of the measures adopted, Google Analytics service, used by this site merely for statistical purposes, is active when accessing the site; no consent by the user is required for the release of its cookies.

At the following link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it you may find the browser plug-in allowing the deactivation of Google Analytics.
