On 17th October 2022, the Platform for Turkey<\/strong>, represented by the Presidents of the 4 main European Associations of Judges (Association of European Administrative Judges, AEAJ; the European Association of Judges, EAJ; Judges for Judges and Magistrates Europ\u00e9ens pour la D\u00e9mocratie et les Libert\u00e9s, MEDEL), addressed a\u00a0letter\u00a0to the attention of the European Commission and European Council.<\/p>

The letter concerns the\u00a0situation of judiciary in Turkey<\/strong>\u00a0with particular emphasis to the rule of law and to the position of unjustly dismissed judges in the country.<\/p>
