In attendance were representatives of <strong>34<\/strong> European Member Associations of the IAJ. The meeting was hosted by the <strong>Armenian Association of Judges<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The debates focused on several items of the agenda. Among them the situations of the judiciary in <strong>Czech Republic<\/strong>, <strong>Greece<\/strong>, <strong>Hungary<\/strong>, <strong>Italy<\/strong> and <strong>Montenegro<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The assembly heard and discussed as well the reports from the three permanent Working Groups of the EAJ: the <strong>Working Group on the situation of Member Associations<\/strong>, the <strong>\u201cWays to Brussels\u201d Working Group<\/strong> and the <strong>Working Group on \u201cJudicial Salaries and Pensions\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The event was preceded by an <strong>international conference<\/strong>, on 8th May 2025, on the subject \u201c<em>Justice for Judges Safeguarding Judicial Independence<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-80cd143 gallery-spacing-custom elementor-widget
